Leroy Gordon

Leroy Gordon, 87, of Hope Street, passed away on August 18, 2026, at St. Annes Hospital. He was the husband of Estelle (Oliver) Gordon.

Born in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He was the son of Wallace Sipes and Catherine (Dunn) Gordon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter; Michelle Tedeschi of Pensacola, Florida: his grandsons: Kenny Moore and Zachary Medeiros; his great grandchildren: Brooklyn Moore, Mason Moore, and Alixzandra Medeiros; his sister: Betty Yates and her husband Lonnie; his nephew: Andrew Rice; and his son-in-law: Micheal Griffin.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Janet-Lee (Gordon) Griffin; his grand-daughter: Sherri Moore; and his brothers: Rodney and David Sipes.

He proudly served our country in the Marine Corps from 1958 through 1964.

He was the owner of Leroy’s Automotive. Upon retirement, he returned to work as a driver for Laid Law Transportation and then later for Roger Williams University for a total of 10 years.
