Lucia F. McCallum

Lucia F. (Damasio) McCallum, 58, of Sandy Lane, passed away on December 26, 2024, at home. She was the wife of James H. McCallum. 

Born in Agua do Pau, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of Maria do Espirito Santo (Hilario) Damasio and the late Luis S. Damasio. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: her children Meaghan (John Forrester) McCallum of Astoria, NY, Alison McCallum of Coventry, and James H. McCallum III of Johnston; grandchild Harper Forrester; and siblings Maria Cloutier of Warren, Luis Damasio of Riverside, and Paul Damasio of Bristol.

Lucy was a 1985 graduate of Bristol High School. She was employed as an Insurance Premium Specialist by Amica Insurance Company for 25 years.

Her funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 8:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.
