Lucilia T. (Da Luz) Medeiros Obituary

Lucilia T. Medeiros, 69 of Annawamscutt Drive passed away on March 8, 2021 at home. She was the wife of Antonio F. Medeiros.  


Born in Agua do Pau, Sao Miguel, Acores, she was the daughter of the late Floriano and Maria da Lourdes (Raposo) Da Luz.  She is survived by her sons Eldere “Eddy” Medeiros and his wife Linda of Portsmouth; and Cliff Medeiros and his wife Jennifer of Tiverton; grandchildren: Kayla Medeiros, Dylan Medeiros, Celina Medeiros, and Adelynn Medeiros. Lucilia was the sister of Jose Da Luz of Bristol, Carlos Da Luz of Warren, Rosa Martins of Bristol, Alcido Da Luz of Bristol, Maria Da Luz of Bristol, Cidalia Da Luz of Bristol , Arthur Da Luz  of Rehoboth, and the late Kim de Sousa.


She was educated in Portugal and employed as a production specialist for Up Country Manufacturing and Carol Cable of Warren.  Lucilia came to the United States in 1970.


Her funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol.
