Lynn Marie Cabral, 74, of Fall River, passed away on June 13, 2023, at Silver Creek Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
Lynn was born in Fall River and raised in Bristol, Rhode Island. Lynn was the daughter of Dorothy (Schmitt) Cabral and the late Aristides Cabral. She was the sister of Debra Sullo of Bristol, RI and Jeffrey Cabral of Winchester, MA. She was the aunt of Dustin (Caitlin Oviedo) Sullo, great-aunt of Gianna Sullo, and godmother of Robin (Heron) Byrne. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Louis Sullo and her sister-in-law Mary Cabral.
Lynn graduated Colt Memorial High School in 1966. She attended Becker College earning a bachelor’s degree in business. She spent most of her professional career in the insurance industry working with Lawson, Marino & Bertera Insurance Agency Inc. and USF&G Insurance.
Prior to her illness, Lynn enjoyed traveling all around the world. She loved to visit Copenhagen, Demark, and the Caribbean Islands. She would spend most of her summers in Newport, RI. Lynn loved and would never miss the Big E Fair in the fall. Lynn loved to share her experiences through postcards sent to loved ones to show that she was thinking of you. When she traveled, she would show her appreciation for exceptional service through thank you cards.
Lynn cherished her time with her family and friends. She had a gift of making anyone feel at ease and could fill any room with joy and laughter. Lynn had an amazing heart and she approached life with a generous mindset. She made every holiday special. Lynn's thoughtful nature and attention to detail is what made holidays so special. She would make sure everything, including the color of wrapping paper and bows, was perfect. Lynn especially loved planning birthday parties. She was notorious for her "Happy Birthday" balloons, and if she could not personally hand you a balloon, she would make sure to send special "prizes". Lynn found it important to bring family and friends together and made it known that she was only a phone call away. She kept herself to this promise by always offering great advice to loved ones.
To my daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, godmother and friend, we all love you.
