Manuel Amaral Correia

Manuel Amaral Correia, 60, of Lincoln Avenue, passed away on November 27, 2019 at Newport Hospital. He was the husband of Eleanor (Warburton) Correia.  

Born in Lajes Praia da Vitoria, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, he was the son of Teresa (Amaral) Correia and the late Miguel Correia.  In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children Eliza M. Correia of Bristol and Evan M. Correia of Somerset MA.  He was the brother of Deodata Narcissio, Fatima Amaral, Joseph Correia, Duval Correia, Doris Damasio and the late Miguel Correia and Helia Correia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Correia was educated in Portugal and employed as a landscaper for DaPonte’s Landscaping Services.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life, Saturday, December 7th, 3 – 7 PM at the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street.
