Manuel Baptista Enes

Manuel Baptista Enes, 64, of Sullivan Lane passed away on December 6, 2018 at his home where he was lovingly cared for by his family. He was the husband of Teresa (Brito) Enes.  

Born in Soajo, Portugal he was the son of the late Antonio Fidalgo Enes and Teresa Fernandes (Baptista) Enes. He is survived by his wife Teresa; children Jason Enes of Bristol, Mark Enes and his wife Angelica Briones Enes of Fall River and Lisa Buchannan of South Carolina; grandchildren Bella Rose Enes, Jaden Enes, Jeremy Markland, Rebecca Markland.  He was the brother of Felicidade Abilheira of Attleboro and Alexandre Enes of Bristol. Manuel was the father of the late Manuel B. Enes, Jr. and brother of the late Antonio Enes.

Mr. Enes was a  graduate of East Providence High School Class of 1972 and employed as a  baker before retiring from Batista Bakery  after 43 years .   

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 11th, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
