Manuel F. Pereira

Manuel F. Pereira, 69, of St. Louis Avenue, passed away on May 5, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Maria de Deus (Couto) Pereira.

Born in Povacao, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of Manuel R. and Maria de Jesus (DaPonte) Pereira. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Emanuel (Stacey) Pereira of Bristol, Joe (Vanda) Pereira of Fall River, MA., Nelson Pereira of Warren, Tania (Anthony) Pereira of Bristol, Marcia (Cody) Pereira of Bristol, and Eliana (Kyle) Pereira of Bristol; grandchildren: Neida Cornejo, Madison Pereira, Leah Castro, Cody Cabral, Carter Cabral, Emily Vieira, and Leo Valenzuela; and siblings: Rosa Pereira of Portugal, Joao Pereira of Portugal, and Jose Pereira of Bristol.

Mr. Pereira was educated in Portugal. He was employed by Outer Limits as a fiberglass technician before retiring.

His funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, 8:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street.
