Manuel "Bob" Costa Prenda

Manuel “Bob” Prenda Jr, 85, passed away on November 1, 2022, at Elmhurst Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.  He was the husband of the late Barbara (Clarkson) Prenda.  

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Manuel C. Prenda and Mary (Costa) Ruff. He is survived by his children: Patricia (Rick) Baccus, Nancy Prenda, and David (Melissa) Goulart.  He was the grandfather of Dawn Blacic, Elizabeth Gray, Maisy Goulart, Julia Goulart, Stephen Goulart, Eva Goulart, and Justin Goulart and great grandfather of Kailynn Breezee, Tyler Busscher, Joey Blacic and Emily Gray.

Mr. Prenda was educated in Bristol and employed by Leviton Industries before retiring.  He was the Mordomo of the Holy Ghost Feast; a life member of the Bristol County Elks; enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; time in his boat, and fishing.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 12th, 8:30 – 10:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
