Margaret A. (MacDonald) LaRose

Margaret A. LaRose, 95, of Benjamin Church Manor, passed away on July 12, 2023, at home.  She was the wife of the late Leo Roger LaRose.  

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Clara (Walsh) MacDonald.  She is survived by her children: Lee Ann (the late John) Veader of Barrington, Karen (Raul) Mickle of Bristol, Kenneth (Fhellie) LaRose of Las Vegas, NV, and Susan (Stephen) Williams of Tiverton; grandchildren: Aimee LaRose, Mark Veader, Andrew Veader, Elizabeth Marshall, Matthew Metcalf, Kathryn Gniadek, William Metcalf, Valerie LaRose, Kristine LaRose, Stephen Williams, Shane Williams, Lee Williams, and Jay Williams; great grandchildren: Sophie, Eric, Tiana, Charles, David, Summer, Dalton, Skyler, Matthew, Emma, Connor, Drew, Brooke, Kiana, Chaise, Elijah, Layna, Olivia, Abigail, Isabella, Evelynn, Elijah, Madison, Lennon, Brandon, Mayson, Hayden, Joseph, Bear, and great-great grandson Archie.  She was the sister of Barbara Rossi and the late Helen Floyd, and Mary Trainor.

Mrs. LaRose was a graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School and employed as an office manager for Premier Thread Co. for many years before retiring. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 19th, 8:30-9:30AM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
