Maria deFatima (Santos) Bigham

Maria deFatima (Santos) Bigham, 89, of Gibson Road passed away on April 12, 2021 at Newport Hospital.  

Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was daughter of the late Artur and Maria deMercedes (Toste) Santos.  She is survived by her children: Linda Viera and her husband John of Bristol; Darrel Bigham and his wife Loretta of North Carolina; grandchildren: Joshua Viera, Lee Viera, Jason Bigham, Shelby Bigham; and great grandchildren: Ivy Viera and Lucy Viera.  She was the mother of the late Wanda Coite and Rachel O’Gara.

Ms. Bigham was educated in Portugal and the owner of Reflections Beauty Salon in Barrington for 27 years before retiring.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, April 17th, 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church 330 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.
