Maria Leonor (Ventura) Brum

Maria Leonor (Ventura)  Brum, 92, of State Street, passed away on February 28, 2024, at Silver Creek Manor.  She was the wife of the late Jose de Brum.

Born in Pico da Pedra, São Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Jose and Irene (Pacheco) Ventura.  She is survived by her sons: Jose (Gina) C. Brum of Bristol and Fernando (Patricia) L. Brum of Bristol; grandchildren: Katherine Brum, Mallory Brum, Sabrina Brum, and Sofia Brum; great-grandchildren: Abigail Rodrigues and Anthony Rodrigues; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brum was predeceased by her daughter Maria dos Anjos Brum, and brothers Leonel Ventura and Jose Ventura.

Mrs. Brum was educated in Portugal and a homemaker.

Her funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2nd, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
