Maria Teresa (Rodrigues) Jorge, 91, of Broadcommon Road, passed away on January 21, 2025, at Newport Hospital.

Born in Conceicao, Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of Verginia Rodrigues. She is survived by her children, Maria Cambra, Antonio Jorge, Carlos Jorge, Maria (Aubrey) Phillips, and Gina (Kenneth) Holt; Her grandchildren Regina Cambra, Julie Cambra, Toni Jorge, Christian Jorge, Antonio Jorge, Nicole Jorge, Shantal Phillips, Jennifer Phillips, Sarah Holt, Jacob Holt, and Emma Holt; Her great-grandchildren Madison Brock, Tyler Brock, Mackenzie Brock, and Jayden Cambra; And her great-great-grandchildren Arielle Wooddon and King Wooddon.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her spouse, Rogerio Alberto Jorge, as well as her granddaughter, Kristen Jorge and siblings, Cesaltina Dos Santos, Natalia Garcia, and Antonio Rodrigues.

She attended school in Portugal. She was employed by Newport Hospital for 25 years.

Her funeral services will be private.
