Maria de Jesus (Leandro Vieira) Labao, 78, passed away on August 21, 2023, at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of Antonio D. Labao.
Born in Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jaime and Maria Jesus (Leandro) Vieira. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Antonio (Maria) Labao, Natalia Barbeiro, Jose (Sue Mello) Labao, Delia Labao, Anna (Mark) Metade, and Humberto (Jennifer) Labao. She was the grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 4, and grandmother of the late Amy Labao.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 25th, 8 – 10:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
