Maria Amelia Mendes

Maria Amelia Mendes, 87, of Rock Street passed away on November 24, 2020 at Silver Creek Manor.  She was the wife of the late Candido Lima.  

Born in Lages, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim Mendes Toste and Maria Amelia Avila.  She was the mother of Delia Bairos and the late Candido Lima; grandmother of  Roger Bairos, Richard Bairos, Fabio Lima and Lisandra Lima; and great grandmother of Julian Bairos, Dylan Bairos, Gabriella Bairos and Matilde Lima.  She was the sister of Arleano Toste, Celcina Valadao and the late Vitorina Meneses, Rosa Toste, Joaquin Toste and Francisco Toste.

Family and friends are in our prayers, the family will have private service at their convenience.
