Maria Santo Cristo C. Pereira, 72, of Baker Street, passed away on August 27, 2024, at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the wife of Jose L Pereira.
Born in Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Alfredo and Maria Constantina (Couto) Correia. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: her children Suzane Pereira of Tiverton, Clif Pereira of Portsmouth, Luis (Angelica Gaynor-Pereira) Pereira of Bristol, and Tina (fiancé Carlos) Pereira of Bristol; and grandchildren Samantha Mann, Chelsea Mann, Hailey Mann, Riley Dawson-Pereira, Lucas Pereira, Olivia Pereira, Liana Pereira, and Luna Pereira.
She was predeceased by 11 siblings.
Mrs. Pereira was educated in Portugal. She was a stay-at-home mother.
Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 8 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
