Maria (Rodrigues) Ribeiro passed away on March 21, 2020 at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Gabriel Silva Ribeiro.

Born in Capelo, Faial, Acores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Rodrigues Pereira and Mariana Bernarda (DaSilva) Pereira. She was the mother of Joseph Ribeiro and the late Manuel Ribeiro, grandmother of Natasha Thompson and sister of Almorinda Silviera.

Mrs. Ribeiro was educated in Portugal and employed as a sewing machine operator for Robin Rug for 20 years before retiring.
