Maria da Conceicao Lima Obituary

Maria da Conceicao (de Cambra) Lima, 93, formerly of Libby Lane, passed away on April 28, 2025, at Village House Nursing & Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Antonio F. Lima. 


Born in Capelas, São Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Pacheco) da Cambra Lima. She is survived by her sons: Jose Cabral of North Tonawanda, NY, Eduardo “Eddie” Lima of Spencer, MA, and Antonio Lima of Middletown; grandchildren: Joey, Ben, Brian, Tommy, Peter, Duval, Shawn, Krystal, and Isaac.


She was predeceased by her brothers: Antonio Lima, Jose Lima, and Manuel Lima; her late stepson: Teofilo Lima; and late stepdaughter Graca Salema. 


Mrs. Lima was employed as a machine operator for various companies such as Premier Thread, Converse, and American Tourister before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Bristol, Rhode Island. 


Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 8 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
