Mary C. Barros, 83, formerly of Congregational Street, passed away on March 11, 2024, at Silver Creek Manor.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Maximiano and Virginia (de Jesus) Barros. She is survived by her cousins, Mary Lou Ventura and Susan Almeida-Oliveira, and her best friend Roberta A. Saucier.
She was predeceased by her brother, Maximiano Barros Jr.
Ms. Barros attended Colt Memorial High School. She was employed by American Tourister from 1960 to 1993, and by Robin Rug for one year before retiring.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 27th, 10 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street. A receiving line at church will begin prior to mass at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
