Mary Louise (Servant) Medeiros

Mary Louise (Servant) Medeiros, 82, passed away on April 19, 2019 at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Virgil Medeiros.  

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Rose (Sicignano) Servant.  She is survived by her sister Camille King and her husband Edward of Bristol and stepsons Virgil Medeiros of Barrington and John Paul Medeiros of Warren.  She is also survived by her grandson Brian Medeiros; nieces Sara King and Catherine Teixeira and nephew Edward Texeira.

Mary was a graduate St. Mary Academy - Bay View and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Salve Regina College. She was an elementary school teacher for the Newport School Department for 30 years before retiring.   

Calling hours are Friday, April 26th, 9 – 10:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.
