Olga Botelho, 94 of Fatima Drive, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Manor. She was the wife of the late Gildo Botelho to whom she had been married 67 years before his death.
She was the daughter of the late Luiza Duante DaSilva and Manuel Marshall DaSilva She is survived by her sons: Douglas Botelho and John Paul Botelho; and daughter-in-law Virginia Botelho. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Jodi and Eric Leffingwell, Kelly and Kevin Caton, Douglas Matthew Botelho; and her great-grandchildren Shea, Julia and Jacqueline Caton; Abigale and Aubrey Leffingwell; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Gildo, she was preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Jacqueline Luiza Botelho and her brothers Ayres DaSilva and Edward DaSilva.
Olga was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School and spent her life as a servant of the community and her family. She spent her career as a manager at New England Telephone and AT &T. She served on countless committees and charitable organizations. She was an avid communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church, where she found her passion serving on the Holy Ghost Committee for decades.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 5th, 11 am, at St. Elizabeth’s Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
