Peggy V. (Studdard) Ferreira

Peggy V. (Studdard) Ferreira, 95, of Bristol, RI, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2025. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Ferreira.

Born in Mize, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Minnie Mae (Luckey) Studdard. She is survived by her children: Robert Ferreira of Bristol, RI and Donna M. (Matthew J.) Smith of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

Peggy graduated from Pascagoula High School, and later, received her cosmetology certification and license from the American Association of Cosmetology School. She was the owner of Le Petit Salon in Warren, RI, for over 30 years. Peggy served as a secretary for the National Cosmetology Association. She also served as a moderator for the Town of Bristol Elections Board of Canvassers.
