Raymond E. McCann, 66, of Fatima Drive, passed away on February 20, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the partner of Amanda (Flora) Mello. Born in Providence, he was the son of Henry and Joanne (Mahone) McCann. In addition to his partner, he is survived by his daughters: Shannan(Jacob Conte) Mello of Bristol, and Jacklyn (Joel Ferrara) of Bristol; grandchildren: Cameron Conte, Charlotte Conte, and Caleb Conte; and brother: Steven McCann of Middletown.  

Raymond was a 1976 class graduate of Bristol High School. He was employed by Jade Engineering as a mechanical engineer for 43 years before retiring. Raymond was a loving partner, a devoted father & grandfather, & loyal friend. The type of man to never hesitate or question when his family was in need. Always going above and beyond. He was also known for all his tasty cooking and being a master chef on the grill. Besides all that, he had a humor like no other. Always making others laugh and smile without even trying. 

Raymond will be greatly missed by all, but especially his loved ones. He left his mark on all our hearts, and we will continue to share all the stories we have about him and make sure his memory lives on forever. 

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, February 25, 4 – 6 PM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street.
