Richard A. Brown, 63, of DeWolf Avenue, passed away on September 26, 2024, at home. He was the husband of Michele (Dupuis) Brown.
Born in Newport, he was the son of the late Richard H. Geraldine (Cabral) Brown. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his sons Richard (Alyssa) Brown of Bristol, and Christopher Brown of Bristol; grandson and co-conspirator Bryce Brown; and siblings Deborah Brown, and Robert Brown. He is also survived by his beloved in-laws: Frank and Patricia Barone; brother-in-law Brian Dupuis; and sister-in-laws Sheryl Oliver, Tami Lemos, and Kathy Barone. He was loved immensely by his many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Ricky was predeceased by his late brother-in-laws, Frank (Bungy) Barone and John Oliver.
Richard graduated from East Providence High School and attended New England Institute of Technology. He was employed by Heustis Machine Corp for 38 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, attending car shows with his friends, vacationing with his family, and spending time with his pets.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, October 4, 4 - 6 PM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street.
