Richard Ferri Obituary

Richard M. Ferri, 69, of Warwick, passed away on July 25, 2025, at Greenwood Center.

Richard was a graduate of Bristol Highschool where he participated in wrestling and football. He was the son of Theodore C. and Ann (Palumbo) Ferri. He is survived by his children Kim (Steven) Perry of Swansea, and William Ferri of Tennessee; grandchildren: Taylor Perry, Samantha Costa, and Kendall Perry; great-grandchild: Alaia Simmons; his nieces and nephews; and brother: Thomas (Christine) Ferri of Seekonk.

He was predeceased by his brothers: Theodore Ferri, Jr. and Bruce Ferri.

A man known for his unforgettable smile, joyful spirit, and kind heart, he brought laughter and warmth to every room he entered. Richard spent many years working as a dedicated stagehand technician, a behind the scenes job he took pride in, helping bring the music to life. His work was a reflection of who he was - hardworking, dependable, and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Outside of his career, he was the life of every party. His sense of humor, infectious laughter, and love for people made him a magnet for happiness. He never hesitated to help someone in need. His love for animals was just another expression of his gentle and compassionate nature.

He leaves behind a family and circle of friends who adored him and whose lives are richer for having known him. He will be missed more than words can express. We will carry his memory in our hearts, and we take comfort in remembering that he made us laugh, smile, and feel loved.
