Rogerio Jorge

Rogerio A. Jorge, 87, of Broad Common Road, passed away on March 12, 2023, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.  He was the husband of Maria Teresa (Rodrigues) Jorge.  

Born in Matriz, Horta, Faial, he was the son of the late Antonio Jr. and Conceicao (Silveira) Jorge.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Maria Cambra of FL, Antonio Jorge of Newport, Carlos Jorge of England, Maria (Aubrey) Phillips of VA, and Gina (Kenneth) Holt of Bristol; grandchildren: Regina Cambra, Julie Cambra, Toni Jorge, Christian Jorge, Antonio Jorge, Nicole Jorge, Shantal Phillips, Jennifer Phillips, Sarah Holt, Jacob Holt, and Emma Holt; great grandchildren: Madison Brock, Tyler Brock, Mackenzie Brock, and Jayden Cambra; and great-great grandchild Arielle Wooddon. He was the brother of Mario Jorge of CA, Antonio Jorge of CA, Jose Jorge of Brazil, Fernanda Resendes of Warren, and Helder Jorge of Warren. Mr. Jorge was predeceased by his granddaughter Kristen Jorge.

Mr. Jorge was educated in Portugal and employed as an auto body technician for Barry’s Pontiac & Buick for 20 years as well as Lincourts Auto Body Shop for 34 years before retiring.

His funeral services were private.
