Ronald Joseph Carreiro, 64, of Hope Street passed away on March 8, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was the son of the late Manuel and Mary (Dias) Carreiro. He is survived by his children Laura Carreiro and Sam Carreiro; and his partner Leslie Keohane all of Bristol. He was the brother of Lorraine Silvia, Bernadette Carreiro, Richard Carreiro, Robert Carreiro and the late Raymond Carreiro.
Mr. Carreiro was a graduate of Bristol High School and the University of Rhode Island. He was a teacher at Providence Career and Technical High School for 18 years. He was also self employed as a shellfisherman and bluefin tuna fisherman.
His funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow be private.
Calling hours are Tuesday 4 - 8 PM.
