Ronald Silva Sr.

Ronald Silva Sr., 80, of Fales Road passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 28, 2019.  He was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Botelho) Silva.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late David and Clara (Enos) Silva.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving sons; Ronald Silva Jr. of Bristol, Richard A. Silva of Bristol and Robert S. Silva of Exeter.  He was the grandfather of Rilyn, Benjamin and Kaden Silva and brother of Steven Silva and the late David and Eugene Silva.

Mr. Silva was a member of the Teamsters Local 251 for over 38 years before retiring in 1995.  He enjoyed walking the bike path and sitting by the harbor.  He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, October 3rd, 11:30 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will be private.

Arrangements are with the George C. Lima Funeral Home.
