Russell Allen Emond Obituary

Russell Allen Emond, 64 of Warren and formerly of Bristol, passed away on
December 31, 2022 at his home.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Lucy Loretta Emond of Bristol and the late
Richard Emond Sr. He is survived by his siblings: Richard Emond Jr (Janet), Ann
Quintin (Paul) and David Emond. He leaves behind his nieces, nephews and a
great nephew, many dear friends and fishing buddies.

Russ graduated from Bristol High School and was a self-employed upholsterer.

His passion in life other than his family was fishing. He loved to be out on the sea,
standing on the shore or pond side, as long as he had a line in the water, he was
happy. Always willing to spend the time, Russ would visit the elderly for hours
and often provide them with the days catch. He always had the greatest of tales
to tell and could captivate any audience, young or old.

He was a kind and caring man and will be missed by everyone he embraced.

Calling hours are Saturday, January 7th, 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street.

Burial will be private.
