Silvana (Perreira) Germano

Silvana (Perreira) Germano, 94 passed away on June 3, 2020 at Crestwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was the wife of the late Joao Carriero Germano.

Born in Relva, St. Michael, Azores, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Joao and Maria (Soares) Perreira.  She was the mother of Joao Germano (Maria F.), Anibal Germano and the late Armando Germano (Maria C.).   She is also survived by her grandchildren David Germano, Armando Germano, Melinda Germano, Liza Olson, Melissa Silva and great grandchildren Ashley Germano, Kaylee Germano, Sarina Olson, Kelsey Olson, Brianna Silva, Ryan Silva and Emily Silva.  She was the sister of Natalia Soares.

Mrs. Germano was employed by Carol Cable for 16 years before retiring.

Her funeral services were held June 10th from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Marinaldo Batista at St. Elizabeth’s Church.  Liturgical readings were by Melissa Silva and Melinda Germano.  The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Ashley Germano. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were David Germano, Armando Germano, Derek Olson, Michael Silva, Adelino Machado and Fernando Cabral.
