Theresa "Terrie" Ramos

Theresa “Terrie” Ramos, 83, of Rumford and formerly of Bristol and Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on February 23, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her four loving children.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of James T. Cruz Jr and Isabel (da Luz) Cruz. She is survived by her children: Fred (Melanie) Ramos of Bristol, Terrie Ann Ramos of Rumford, Michael (the late Natalina) Ramos of Bristol, and Susan (Bryce Chevalier) Ramos of Aptos, CA; and grandchildren: Jared, Jacob, Jade, Moriah, Victoria, and Teagan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James T. Cruz III (1967).

Terrie was a 1959 class graduate of Colt Memorial High School. She graduated from Our Lady of Fatima Hospital Nursing School and was employed as a nurse for 63 years before retiring.

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 8 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
