Thomas L. Livesey

Thomas L. Livesey, 79, of East Providence, passed away at home on November 18, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Shirley A. (Blair) Livesey.

Born in Lowell, MA, Thomas was the son of Martin and Ellen (Welch) Livesey. He is survived by his daughters Michele (Herbie) Guadalupe and Nicole (Michael) Costa of Bristol, along with his grandchildren Ryan (Jordan), Kurt, Stephanie (Anthony), and Megan, and great-grandchild Harper. He is also remembered by his siblings Martin Livesey of New Hampshire and Jo Ellen Livesey of Florida, and his nephew Greg (Kim) Livesey.

A U.S. Army veteran, Thomas earned an engineering degree from Lowell Technological Institute and spent 40 years as a plastics engineer at Solvay. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was an avid road cyclist and a reader.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life during a memorial service on Friday, November 22, from 1:30 – 3:00 PM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street.
