Thomas “Tommy” Teixeira, 41, of Dolly Drive, passed away on Thursday, September 12, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the companion of Nicole Laprocina.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Jose C. and Dolores A. (LePage) Teixeira. In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by: a son Thomas Teixeira, Jr., and a daughter Adalyn Teixeira; siblings: Elizabeth Morency and her husband Chad Morency of Bristol, Laura Octaviano and her husband Todd Bond of Warren, Joseph Teixeira and his wife Goretti Teixeira of Warren, and his twin brother Michael Teixeira of Bristol; his nieces and nephews: Abigail Gaudet, Christian Octaviano, Ethan Octaviano, Savanna Octaviano, Ava Teixeira, Ella Teixeira, Shawn Teixeira; aunts and uncles: Fatima Vaughan, Ermelinda Vieira and Antonio Vieira, Manuel Teixeira and Alda Teixeira, Arthur Teixeira, Adriano Teixeira and Marlene Teixeira, Mario Teixeira and Cathy Teixeira, Maggie Teixeira, Brenda Child and Michael Child, Roberta Barboza and Peter Barboza, and David LePage and Nelia LePage; his Grandmother Dolores LePage; many cousins; and his best friend and dog Liberty.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Evangelina Teixeira, grandfather Robert LePage, Sr., and his uncles Leonel Teixeira, and Robert LePage, Jr.

Tommy attended Bristol schools. He will be remembered as the tire, battery, service mechanic at Benny’s.

His funeral services will be held on Monday, September 16, 9:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
