Valzumira M. (Silva) Bottligliri, 101, of Bristol, passed away on July 29, 2026, at Dawn Hill Home. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Bottigliri.
Native to Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Alexandrina (Leal) Silva. She is survived by her daughters: Frances (Joseph) Pacheco of Bristol and Sally (Oliver “Buster”) Moran of Bristol; grandchildren: Joseph A. Pacheco, Jr., Beth Ann Coccio, Michael Pacheco, Brian Moran, and Jason W. Moran; great-grandchildren: Joseph “J.R.” Pacheco, Matthew A. Coccio, Briana Pacheco, Michael Pacheco, Kyle Pacheco, Ryan Coccio, Cody Pacheco, Owen Moran, and Aidan Moran; and great-great grandchildren: Harryson, Briar, Brooke, Enzo, Elana, and Stella.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters: Gilda Ascoli, Albertina Medeiros, Lillian Careiro, and Mary Silva.
Mrs. Bottigliri was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Church. She was incredibly crafty. Mrs. Bottigliri was an excellent knitter and a terrific cook.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 7, 10 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
